On May 13, 2010, the Berkeley Zoning Adjustment Board unanimously approved the permit to construct our home, using what will be the 6th Revision of the plans. The architectual model rendering shows how the Berkeley Phoenix House is situated on the hillside, and does not obstruct views - being 7.5' lower than the neighboring structures on either side. For reference, point F is 33' higher than point A.
Looking from SW to NE: The Berkeley Phoenix House, when completed, will be a welcome renewal to the hillside, done in the spirit of Henry Hill.
